This week I have several orders of desserts that have chocolate chips, so I decided to make them at home instead of buying them. The main reason is because I need different types of sparks for the desserts that I will make: chocolate chips with milk, sparks of dark chocolate, sparks of white chocolate, and colorful chocolate chips.
They’re very simple to make, so why not! all you have to do is:
- Melt the chocolate in water bath being careful not to burn it
- When completely melted, put it in a pastry bag (or you make your own with a freezer bag), spread a sheet of non-stick paper and, patiently, make droplets on a sheet of parchment paper.
- Let them harden and remove them from the paper with care. Store them in a cool, dry place, inside a plastic bag, as you would any chocolate.
And voila! Ready for baking or eating as snack!
